Our Story: The CSC was birthed in 2016 through two life-long friends, Jimmy Hessler and Miguel Cortes. Soccer had given everything to them, and they had the dream of creating an environment of fun, passion and love in which youth of Jackson, Wyoming would have the opportunity to make new friendships, learn values, and spend their summer days in a productive way. Two summers later, the CSC has impacted more than 100 lives of Jackson Hole youth players, and created countless relationships between individuals of diverse backgrounds. |
Our Mission: Through soccer, create a community of friendship, love and passion for all youth with a focus on providing athletic, educational, and experiental opportunities to underserved populations. |
Our story
The CSC is an organization built on strong, unlikely friendships.
Childhood in different worlds
Miguel was born and raised in Léon, Guanajuato, Mexico. Jimmy was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. Though their lives shared little similarity, one thing that linked them since the time they could walk was a love for soccer.

In 2010, Jimmy and Miguel met on the soccer fields in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Though their histories were written in different ink, their mutual love for the beautiful game created an environment for learning, truth and friendship, which opened their eyes to some of the difficulties and beauty of this world.

After the repeal of DACA in late 2017, Miguel was forced to voluntarily depart from the United States or face serious legal consequences. Despite this painful blow, the CSC plans to make 2018 it's most successful year yet, with expansion to Léon, Guanajuato, Mexico and Belo Horizonte, Brasil.
